Curt Hitch Recommendation for a 2000 Chevy Truck  

Question:

I measured my width and Im getting 34 5/8 I believe this hitch is saying it is 34inch will this still work on my truck or are there some adjustables to open it wider?

If your 2000 Chevy truck is a cab and chassis model the Curt Hitch part # 13028 would be the correct hitch for your vehicle. I spoke with my contact at Curt and he informed me that the 34 inch measurement is from outside of frame rail to outside to frame rail.

If you don't have a cab and chassis model you would want the part # C15325 hitch instead.
