Hitch Recommendation for a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

Hello, My Mk4 Jetta TDI has had a hitch installed by a previous owner. The original hitch installed was either the Draw-Tite # 24680 or Reese # 77027. I want to install a hitch on the car, and since the car already has holes drilled, the hitch I want to buy needs to align correctly. So my question, is there a difference between the model # listed to current generations that would require me to re-drill?

All three of the hitches you referenced are essentially the same thing and would use the same installation points. The part number 24680 and 77027 are now obsolete but have been superseded by the # 24748 that you referenced.

If you go the # 24748 you should be able to reuse the holes that were already drilled on your vehicle. Check out the install video I attached.
