Weight distribution cannot be used with a Class II trailer hitch. To determine the actual Class hitch you have it may say it on the hitch somewhere or in the owners manual for your 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
A Class II hitch would have a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening size. A Class III hitch would have a 2 inch receiver opening. I have included a link to the right that covers the differences in hitch classes for you.
If you do have a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver, check the hitch and/or vehicle owners manual to make sure that it can be used with weight distribution.
The Rpod trailers are not very heavy but to choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
If you do the calculations and determine that the tongue weight is under 550 pounds then I recommend a Blue Ox Sway Pro system. Many Rpod trailers have what is called a bottom mount or underslung coupler. If yours does then you would use # BXW0553. If it is not an underslung coupler then use # BXW0550. Both systems are rated for up to 550 pounds tongue weight.
For a 2 inch ball use # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 19286. I have included some links to the right on determining tongue weight and weight distribution for you.
