Output of the Optronics 6-1/2 inch Oval Trailer Lights
Question:
trying to compare lights.. do you know what the brightness in lumens is for these lights. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Optronics uses candelas to rate the brightness of their lights instead of lumens and the output of the Optronics 6-1/2 inch Oval LED Back Up light, # BUL52CB, is 175 candela. At a distance of 1 foot, the candela output is equal to the output in lumens.
The next brightest 6-1/2 inch oval light would be the part # BUL22CB which has an output of 160 candela.
The part # BUL10CB that you referenced has a candela rating of 125 which would make it the dimmest offering which I would not recommend as a reverse light.
