7-Way Recommendation for a 2012 Ford F250 with Factory Brake Controller
Question:
Hi my name is Aaron Im trying to hook up the trailer brakes on my 2012 F250 XLT and they do not have the 7 prong hook up. I have the factory trailer brake console in the cab what part do I need to hook it all up?

If you have the factory brake controller in your 2012 Ford F250 your truck should have had a factory 7-way installed on it at one point. So to replace the 7-way that was on your vehicle you would want the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 74682 that you referenced.
