Troubleshooting a Leaking Reverse Lock Out Solenoid

Question:

I recently installed a Titan coupler with this lock-out solenoid. The solenoid leaked where threaded into the master cylinder from the factory. I tried tightening the solenoid but the brass nipple that threads into the master cylinder broke off. Im ordering a replacement solenoid but want to know what I need to do to ensure it does not leak again? Thanks.

Over tightening the fitting can cause it to never seal again properly. Your best option would be to make sure you have the line perfectly square in the fitting as you tighten it. Flexible line will have to be used.

I attached an install video for the Solenoid part # T4748800.
