What is the Recommended Trunk Bike Rack for a 2014 Toyota Prius V with Factory Spoiler

Hello, Ive just bought a 2014 Prius V with the factory roof spoiler. I like the way the TH45JV works with the cables instead of straps. I just want to make sure that this Thule will work with the factory spoiler and not pull it down. The spoiler appears to be made of plastic and the angle that the straps go over the spoiler has me concerned.

The Thule Outway trunk bike rack # TH45JV will fit your 2014 Toyota Prius V but I would NOT recommend it as it will add too much stress to the factory spoiler.

The best option for your 2014 Toyota Prius V is the Hollywood Rack # HRF2 because it will mount so there isn't any stress on the factory spoiler. Please note the maximum weight capacity is 70 pounds. I have linked a installation video as well.

You will also need an Adapter bar # HRBA-PRO depending on what type of bikes you will be carrying. Most step-through bikes, dual-suspension bikes, and small children's bikes will require a bike adapter bar.
