Is it Possible to Convert a Stromberg Carlson Follower Leg to a Lead Leg
Question:
does this kit provide me all of the components to convert the gearing to a lead leg unit? Besides the motor and gearbox. Should the thrust bearings be replaced during this rebuild and if so what is the part number for them? I really appreciate all of your expert support I have seen on your site. It has really saved me time and money. I look forward to your response.

I spoke to my contacts at Lippert and Stomberg Carlson and they all said that there is no recommended way to convert a follower leg to a lead leg. The only solution for you would be to get a follower leg, part # LG-179013.
