Coupler Size on 2006 Rockwood Freedom 1940 Pop-Up Camper

I have a 2015 explorer with a towing package. What size of a on my ball do I need to tow a 2006 Rockwood Freedom 1940 pop-up camper?

The Forest River website does not provide coupler size information for the many different pop-up campers in their Freedom series. However, on the coupler itself, either stamped into the metal or noted on a sticker, should be an indication of the ball size needed to match the supplied coupler. It is likely to be a 2-inch ball.

To give you maximum flexibility for your towing needs I suggest the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes two ball mounts, two hitch balls (1-7/8-inch and 2-inch) as well as a pin and clip, all together in a handy tote bag. Please refer to the linked video.
