Replacement Landing Gear Jack Recommendation
Question:
I have a 2001 Carriage F34CK3. I pulled the landing gear motor out and found that the gear on the motor shaft is stripped. The gear that it meshs with in the gear box looks fine. Can I purchase a replacement gear for the shaft assuming I can remove the gear which I havent had much luck with yet, the pin doesnt want to budge Or can I just buy a new motor with a new gear set. I am attaching a pic of the motor and you can see the worn gear. FYI...the hole in the motor was from a nail I used as a replacement pin for the follower leg I was a few hundred miles from home and had to improvise

The pictures you submitted didn't make it through. Because I don't know what landing gear set you have on your trailer it would be pretty hard for me to recommend replacement parts. I did attach a link to a page that has all of the replacement landing gear motors we offer. If your landing gear is an Ultra-Fab, Stromberg-Carlson, or a Lipper LCI chances are we have a replacement motor.
