Differences Beetween Available Trailer Hitches for 2011 Mercedes-Benz ML350 BlueTEC
Question:
I had a question about the hitch for 2011 Mercedes MClass ML 350 BlueTEC. What does round tube receiver mean? We just have a yakima bike trailer to mount with standard square . We also notice that this hitch does not say hidden in the description as some of the other models do. Is there a picture of one mounted somewhere that we can see? thanks

The Curt # C13102 is referred to as a round tube receiver because the hitch crosstube is tubular, instead of being constructed of square tubing like some of the other hitches available for the ML350. However, the Curt # C13102 is the only hitch offered that's compatible with the BlueTEC model. No worries, the # C13102 still uses the standard 2 inch square receiver opening.
Hidden Hitch is a brand name that doesn't necessarily reflect how visible the hitch for any given vehicle will be. Some are exposed completely, while some hitches are completely concealed except for the receiver opening.
I've provided a photo showing what the hitch looks like when installed. You might also need the following to complete your towing system.
Trailer wiring harness, part # C59236
Ball mount, part # AMSC2
Trailer ball, part # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch
