Trunk Mount Bike Rack for Audi Q5 2014
Question:
I do not want to use a roofrack and do not have a hitch currently on my Audi q5 2014. I was going to have hitch put on until I got the price from the dealer. The part is $795 + labor. Is there a trunk option I can use?

We can do a little better than the dealer price...We offer aftermarket hitches for your Q5, like the Draw-Tite # 75940. As you'll see from the product description, we charge quite a bit less than the what the dealer gets for the OEM hitch. With a hitch installed, you could use a bike rack like the Swagman Trailhead, which is available in a 2 bike # S63360, 3 bike # S63365 and 4 bike # S63380 models. I've linked you to some product description videos you might find helpful.
If you'd still rather go with a trunk mount rack, Hollywood Racks manufactures the only trunk mounted rack that is compatible with your Q5, the Over The Top. The rack is available in a 2 bike version, part # HRF2 or the three bike version, # HRF2-3.
If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance.
