Trunnion Bars vs Round Bars & Ground Clearance
Question:
Can you estimate the difference in ground clearance between the Fastway e2 trunnion bar as compared to the Fastway e2 round bar? Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The round bar extends about 2-1/2 inches below the weight distribution head, while the trunnion bar does not extend below the weight distribution head at all, as you can see in the side-by-side photo I edited for you.
This is why we recommend folks that have vehicles with low ground clearance like minivans and compact trucks go with a trunnion bar system.
