Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rails Recommendation for a 2009 Chevy Silverado with Short Bed
Question:
Purchased a gooseneck set up late 09 early 2010. Could you send me that info. and let me know if that set up would accommodate your 5th wheel companion slider. Thank You

I checked your order notes and it looks like you ordered a now discontinued Draw Tite Fold Down gooseneck hitch. Your hitch is not compatible with the B and W Companion Slider hitch part # BWRVK3400 that you referenced as this only fit B and W gooseneck hitches.
The best recommendation I could make for you would be to replace your gooseneck hitch with fifth wheel rails and install a sliding hitch. None of the adapters that would work with your setup would be compatible with your short bed truck. The wouldn't give you the clearance to make 90 degree turns.
For rails you will want a custom install kit like the part # RP50064-58. Custom rails install in about half the time as a universal install kit.
For a hitch I would recommend the Reese Slider Hitch part # RP30051. Check out the review video I attached.
Now if you need to tow a gooseneck trailer in the future all you would need is the part # HT31368.
