How Does a Keel Roller Fit on 5/8 Inch Shaft
Question:
Is a keel roller press fit onto the 5/8inch shaft or is it a loose fit?

Expert Reply:
The roller sits loosely enough on the 5/8 inch shaft that it will spin easily, but not so loose that it's sloppy. If you needed a replacement shaft, a 13-5/8 inch long shaft is available as part # CE10727A. It includes two pal nuts.
