Air Pressure Range for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags

Question:

What is the pressure range for fire stone ride right fan 21-9015

Expert Reply:

I spoke with my contact at Firestone and the air pressure range for the vast majority of all their Ride-Rite air bags is 5 psi to 100 psi.

The 21-9015 number that you mention is actually the order number for the "equipped with Ride Rite Helper Springs" sticker and is not the part number for the air bags. If you would like to send me an email with the year, make, and model of your vehicle, I would be happy to help locate an instruction manual for you.

I have attached an article that you can check out.

The correct replacement air bag for your setup is part # F6764. We also have an air line service kit as part # F2012 that you can use. Sometimes it's just as cost-effective to replace the entire air bag kit. If that's the case for you then you'll want part # F2061.

We have a 2001 Shasta 308 Travelmaster that needs the rear Firestone Ride Rite Helper Springs replaced. It’s a Ford 450. I keep finding two options for rear. I’m not sure which one is the correct one. Can you help?

For the rear axle of your 2001 Shasta 308 (built on the E-450 chassis) you'll want the Firestone Ride-Rite # F2153. You're exactly right that there are two rear kits available for this chassis, but the # F2153 is the system specifically designed to fit and work on motorhomes like your Travelmaster.
