Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2014 Ford F-250 Behind Class A Motorhome
Question:
what do I have to get to tow the truck behind the Class A?

Expert Reply:
Flat towing a vehicle behind a motorhome requires a number of components in order to be safe and legally compliant in all states. Those items are detailed in the linked article and include a tow bar, safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit, sometimes a wiring extension and high/low hitch adapter, and also a set of base plates and a braking system for the toad.
I recommend Blue Ox base plates # BX2618 along with the Alpha tow bar # BX7380 since these work together without adapters and the tow bar includes the safety cables, saving you that one expense. For lighting you can use the diode kit # RM-154 and if you want an extension use # BX88206. For a braking system I recommend the wireless and portable Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR.
You can use the linked page for a high/low adapter like # BLU34TR to keep your tow bar dead level or at least within 3-inches of level when connected to the MH and toad.
