Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2013 Ram Sport

Question:

do i have to have my computer reprogrammed and what brake controller do you recommend for my 2013 ram sport. dealer says after market will not work on my truck??

There are only a few aftermarket brake controllers that will work for your 2013 Dodge Ram, none of which require computer reprogramming.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. To install this controller you will need the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter # 3023-P. Other than that you would be good to go without having to reprogram anything on your computer.
