Installation of Curt Class III Hitch # 13432 on 2014 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

To install Jeep Wrangler tow hitch Curt- 13432 on my 2014 2 door will I have to the muffler or will it install like the 2014 4 door video? Is ping the muffler related to it being 2 door or is it related to the year model? Thanks in advance.

The Curt Class III Hitch # 13432 that you referenced is indeed a correct fit for your 2014 Jeep Wrangler. It is usually easier to access the hitch mounting points on the frame by temporarily lowering the exhaust from its rubber hanger. (You do not need to remove it completely.) For some this step will be necessary, for others perhaps not. It will certainly make things easier. This step is a function of the frame/exhaust placement, which is based on its model year.
