Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2008 Saab 9-3 Convertible
Question:
Can you tell me what towing hitch would fit my SAAB 9-3 Aero Convertible. It has two exhausts, one one each side of the rear. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The fact that your vehicle has the dual exhaust would mean that the one hitch that Curt manufactures for the 9-3 convertible will not be compatible with your vehicle.
If you were wanting to carry bikes, you could use a trunk mounted bike rack, like the Hollywood Racks Express, available in a 3 bike model as part # HRE3.
If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance.
