Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector # 30955 for a 2008 Chevy Silverado
Question:
i dont have enough lenth on the tow wireing on the truck to reach under my tow hitch to connect the two. 2008 chevy silverado work truck.

It sounds like you need the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector # 30955 for your 2008 Chevy Silverado instead of the Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector # HM40975 as the # 30955 comes with a harness that will reach from the bumper to the round plug you have near your spare tire.
I attached an install video that shows this being installed on a 2008 Silverado just like yours.
