Brake Controller Installation in 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD and 2004 Chevy Suburban 2500HD  

Question:

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD with the towing package and a 2004 Chevy Suburban 2500HD with a towing package. Is there one brake controller I can use in both vehicles? It looks like I can but I may need a different wiring adapter in each vehicle. Thanks.

Brake controllers are not vehicle-specific so you absolutely can choose one and transfer it between your vehicles as needed. The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 that you referenced is a popular, reliable and easy-to-use controller and is an excellent choice.

The quick-connect harness for the 2004 Suburban is part # 3015-P. For the Silverado you will use harness # 3025-P. Both are fully compatible with the P3.
