How Would the Engager Trailer BreakAway Kit # 20099 Install on a Trailer
Question:
I would like to replace the brakaway system with its own battery and not depending on the trailer battery after a long trip. Is it possible to do and how?

It would be pretty straightforward. You would want to remove your current breakaway system and install an Engager Trailer BreakAway Kit # 20099 like you referenced. To see how it would install I attached installation instructions, and install video, plus an FAQ article on these systems.
