4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 1972 International Scout II
Question:
I have an old 1972 international scout II with a factory installed class II hitch. I have no wiring for a four pole electrical hook up. I did some searching on your website and saw that C58044 may be compatible with my Scout wiring. Is it? Do you have any installation videos to assist me in the hook up? Also, i want to install a 4 pole mounting bracket onto the chrome bumper underside. What type of bracket would be compatible for my scout and for the four pole wire harness? Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Sincerely.

Expert Reply:
For your 1972 International Scout II we offer a 4-pole pigtail wiring harness kit that includes a circuit tester to allow proper identification of the function carried on each vehicle wire (wire colors are not fully standardized so testing is the way to go). I have linked a representative installation video as well as a video on how to use the tester.
This 4-pole can be used with mounting bracket # 18144 from TowReady.
