Expert Reply:

I would recommend the Reese Strait-Line Hitch 800 lbs TW / 12,000 lbs GTW, item # RP66073, this is the best system we have and actually works to keep sway from happening rather than stop it after it starts like other systems. The tongue weight that you mentioned falls right in the middle of the weight rating for this system so it is the perfect match for your trailer and would allow you to upgrade in the future if needed.

Along with the weight distribution system you will need a weight distributing Shank and properly sized trailer hitch ball. I have listed a few options below.

Reese Weight Distributing Shank, 14,000 lbs., Item # RP54970
Weight Distributing Shank - Cushioned, Item # AMAC1
Hitch Ball with 2-5/16 inch Diameter and Medium Shank, 12,000 lbs GTW, Item # 19286
Hitch Ball with 2-5/16 inch Diameter and Medium Shank, 14,000 lbs GTW. item # 63836
