Can a Bus with 24 Volt Electrical System be Wired w/Tow Bar Wiring to Flat Tow a Vehicle
Question:
I have a 24v bus conversion but my towed vehicle is 12v. I would really like to use the vehicles lights. What are my options for converting from 24v to 12v?

First, if the bus conversion has a trailer connector it is possible that the circuits on the connector are 12 volt and not 24 volt. You would need a meter such as # PT89ZR to determine if it has 12 or 24 volt at the connector if equipped with one.
It is also possible that even if the bus has a 24 volt system that the lights on it run off of 12 volts. You would have to test them too to make sure.
