How to Install Curt Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2015 Subaru Forester
Question:
I have a 2015 Subaru Forester and a Curt wiring kit but I dont know how to remove the drivers side panel so I can plug it in. There is a tie down ring that keeps it from coming loose. Help!

When we have installed Curt trailer wiring harness # C56040 on Subarus that use this harness our installers did not remove that side panel with the tie down ring. The connector should be just above the bottom of that panel and you might even be able to see the white connector. You may also be able to pull it free from the tape holding it to another harness. I have included a link to a video that should help.
