Is Thule OutWay Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier Recommended for 2011 Honda CR-Z
Question:
I have a 2011 Honda CR-Z. If a Thule Raceway 9001XT fits, wouldnt a Raceway 9003 platform also fit?

The platform style Raceway is not recommended for your 2011 Honda CR-Z nor on any vehicle that does not have a metal bumper. The rack is heavy for a trunk mounted rack and after adding the weight of bikes to the rack it can deform or dent plastic and fiberglass.
For a 2 bike rack I recommend going with the OutWay 2, which you referenced. This rack holds 2 bikes, but is much lighter, at only 13 pounds. We have not had any complaints about this rack denting vehicles. This rack is also very easy to install and remove. It as retractable cables that make putting it on and taking it off the vehicle faster and easier than most trunk mounted racks.
I have included a link to the installation details and a link to a video review of the rack for you. If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
I have also included a helpful link to all of our 2-bike truck mounted bike racks that are a confirmed fit for your 2011 Honda CR-Z.
