Wire Colors and Functions for 4 Wires Pulled Out of a Trailer Connector  

Question:

I have a trailer plug that the wires were pulled out and dont know which plug they go to. I have a white wire, yellow wire,green wire, yellow/brown wire,and green/brown wire. Could u tell me which number plug they r on the plug itself. Thanks

Is this the trailer side connector? It is likely that you have white for ground, yellow for left turn and brake lights, green for right turn and brake lights, and the 2 brown wires are running light circuits, one for the left side (yellow/brown) and one for the right side (green/brown).

I imagine that you have a 4-Way flat connector. On the trailer side the one covered pin is the ground, next to it is the running light circuit, then left turn/brake, and last is right turn and brakes.
