Will E-Track Wheel Net Fit 8 and 10 Inch Tires on a 1955 Messerschmitt KR200 and 1957 BMW Isetta

Question:

Hi I have two Microcars that I am trying to figure out proper tie down solutions for: The first is a 1955 Messerschmitt Kr200 its a 3 wheel car and its tires are 8inch tall and I have a 1957 BMW Isetta 300 which has 4 tires that are 10inch tires. Think wheelbarrow type tires The spacing is totally different on each vehicle and I tow one at a time in an enclosed trailer. I need something that is flexible enough and yet sturdy to ensure the car does not move in the trailer during transportation. I currently have D ring set up throughout the trailer. I tow it in a 6 x 12 V Nose Trailer. Can that wheel net system with E-track be reduced to accommodate the tire sizes? Any suggestions would be helpful. I do not have enough room in the wheel well of either car to do a motorcycle like wheel chock which would be perfect but the cars sit about 4inch off the ground on the Messerschmitt and about 6inch off the ground on the Isetta.

You shouldn't have a problem using the E-track and E-track wheel tie down, # EM58523, on 8 or 10 inch tires on your classic small vehicles. Since 8 and 10 inches are the wheel sizes the actually diameters of the tires should be about twice as much. The strap can go down very small so smaller tires are not a concern. It is larger tires that might not fit.
