Hitch-Mount Carrier for Bicycle That Does Not Require Lifting the Bike

Question:

Due to a back problem I can not lift my bike on to a bike rack. Do you have like a platform with a ramp that could transport a bike that would be hitch mounted. thx.

Hitch mount bike racks are offered in both the hanging-style and the platform style; the latter does require the bike be lifted but to a lesser degree than hanging-style racks. We do not currently offer any bicycle racks with ramps.

However, the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier # UF48-979033 that you referenced may indeed be the right solution for you. This carrier for 2-inch hitches has a ramp that can be fitted to either side of the carrier and it includes a pin and clip to secure it in your hitch (a lock # e98882 is also available to lock the carrier to your hitch).

You will need cargo tie-down straps to hold your bike to the carrier, such as # 317-412080 from ProGrip. If you want to lock the bike to the carrier you can use a cable lock such as # e98891 also from Master Lock.
