Recommended Trailer Harness For 2006 Lexus RX 330
Question:
I have a 2006 Lexus RX330 and I see that both the c55563 and 118478 wiring harnesses are specs for the car. What is the difference between these harness model? Which is better for my RX330?

Expert Reply:
The main difference between the two available wiring harnesses for your 2006 Lexus RX 330 is that they are made by different manufacturers. Both come with the inline fuse and both plug into the vehicle existing wiring with very little additional wiring.
I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part # 118478. We have had some very good feedback from customers that have used this harness in the past. I have attached an installation video for this harness you can check out.
When working with electrical connections I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
