Trailer Spindle, Hub and Drum, and Electric Brakes for a Fabricated Utility Reel Trailer
Question:
Hello I am fabricating a Utility reel trailer and I need a 2.25inch trailer spindle stub that is compatable with a 8 lug 12inch brake drum and hub assembly. The Spindle needs atleast a 6inch stub to weld into the trailer frame. Could you help me find compatable assembly and electric brake set up? The load rating needs to be atleast 5200 lbs. but 6000 would be better. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Spindle # TRU37FR is the highest capacity spindle we have at 2600 pounds. It is a 2-1/4 inch round stub. The part of the stub before the brake mounting flange is 3 inches but the length including the part on the other side of the flange before it tapers down to a smaller diameter would be 6 inches.
Then you could use hub and drum assembly # 8-219-4UC3-EZ which does fit the spindle and it has an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern.
For electric brakes you can use # 23-105 for the left and # 23-106 for the right.
