Roof Rack And Canoe Carrier Recommendation For 2007 Infiniti M35

Question:

Looking for a roof rack with about 78inch crossbars. We have a 2007 Infiniti M35 that we are looking for a roof rack for. Ideally, wed like one with interchangeable crossbars so that we can put in 78inch crossbars in the rare occasions where wed be hauling 2 canoes. I know that Thule makes some lb78-4852, that can be used on their roof racks.

The roof rack that we offer for your 2007 Infiniti M35 is the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack. This roof rack comes with 46 inch crossbars and includes locks in the leg covers that deters theft. This roof rack consists of parts # RRVA118B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK210.

You will want to check the roof weight capacity of your M35 and make sure that you do not exceed the capacity per the manufacturer. Installing crossbars that are much longer than those designed to fit your vehicle can prove to be a hazard and should not exceed the side mirrors on your vehicle.

If you find you are able to carry a canoe on the roof of your M35, I recommend the Rhino Rack Nautic Carrier, part # RR571. This includes the tie-down straps with padded buckles, and 1 set of bow/stern ropes to secure the canoe to the vehicle.
