Hitch Recommendation For 2015 Lexus RX 350 F Sport
Question:
I am purchasing a 2015 Lexus RX 350 F Sport and will need to purchase a trailer hitch and wiring. I see you have a trailer hitch to fit this Lexus, but need a wiring kit. I want to then take the 4 plug kit if offered and adapt this to the 7 way adapter to fit all of my trailers.Do you offer a wiring kit? Lexus wants $700 and appears I can get all the parts with wiring for $200 and install myself. Can you help? Thank You!!

The hitch I recommend for your 2014 Lexus RX 350 F Sport is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C13143. This is a Class lll hitch and has a 2 inch receiver opening.
If you plan on towing with this system I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit, part # 989900. This kit includes 2 hitch balls, 2 ball mounts, the pin and clip, and a handy storage bag. I have attached a product review video for this kit you can check out.
If your RX 350 has the factory tow package the wiring kit I recommend is the Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 56083. Just plug the harness into the connection point behind the rear bumper.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
