Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Chevy Cruze that Provides Smallest Distance from Hitch To Bumper
Question:
Hi Im trying to determine which hitch receiver will give me the most clearance for my bike rack by placing the hitch pin hole in the most rearward direction. I understand the distance from the rear mounting holes to the hitch pin hole on the Curt 11282 is 5.5, so do you know this distance is on the Draw-Tite 24882? Or any other hitch you sell for a 2014 Chevy Cruze non-diesel?

Expert Reply:
For a hitch that would have the hitch opening as far back towards the rear of your 2014 Chevy Cruze as possible you would want the Draw Tite Hitch part # 24882 as it is confirmed to fit your vehicle and only had a distance of 3-3/4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the rear of the bumper. See install video that I attached.
The most popular bike rack we offer that we had a chance to demo on a Cruze just like yours is the Swagman XTC-2 Bike rack part # S64670. See attached video.
