Wiring Pilot Automotive Bumper Mount Back-Up Lamp to Plug Into Trailer Connector
Question:
Good afternoon, I have a 2013 f-150 with towing package. It has both the 7 pin round and 4 pin flat combo plug. Does this item plug directly into either of those or come with an adapter that will enable it to plug in? Also if I order 2 can they both be connected to the same plug? Thanks so much in advance!

The Pilot Automotive # PL-807 is intended to be wired directly into the reverse lamp circuit of a vehicle, so they illuminate when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
This being said, it would be possible to rig up two of the lights so they would plug into your 7-way trailer connector. You'll need a 7-way trailer end connector, like part # PK12706, and wire it up as shown in the provided diagram. The red power wires would connect to the reverse light terminal, which is the center pin, and the black wires are connected to the ground terminal of the trailer connector.
