Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommedations for a 2011 BMW 328xi 4-door Sedan

We do not have a video for any of the trailer hitches for the 2011 BMW 328xi sedan. But I have linked the installation instructions for you. If you are just going to use a hitch for a bike rack I recommend going with Draw-Tite hitch # 24857. This hitch does not include a ball mount, which you would not need if you will not be towing, so it costs less.

For a bike rack that is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch I recommend the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360. This rack holds 2 bikes, can tilt down, and has a rise in the shank for added ground clearance. I have linked a video review of the rack for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
