Weight Capacity of Brophy Ball Mount # BM20

I was doing some comparison shopping and found a review on amazon that says the CR Brophy BM20 Ball Mount is rated for 7500 lbs. capacity and 750 TW you show it as 10000 lbs. and 1000 lbs TW. whats the story?

I cannot explain the contradictory information you found on the online retailer's site as the Brophy Ball Mount # BM20 that you referenced does indeed have the 10,000 lbs GTW and up to 1,000 lbs TW capacities as shown on the etrailer product page. I verified these specs with Brophy and they are also available on their website if you wish.
With this ball mount you can use a hitch ball with a 1-inch shank diameter, such as the 2-5/16-inch Diameter # 63847 or the 1-7/8-inch Diameter # 19260.
