How to Determine if a 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Will Fit Unknown Rails in a 2004 Ford F-250
Question:
I recently purchased a 2004 F350 Super Duty long bed that already has the rails installed for a fifth wheel hitch. Is there anyway to identify the brand of rails installed? I cannot find any markings on the rails but they look like the standard rails in most of your picture advertisements.

It will be easy to determine if an industry standard hitch will fit the rails, even if we can't identify the brand and model. Take a look at the picture I have included that shows the spacing of where a hitch fits in industry standard rails. Then compare these measurements to your rails. If they are the same then you will be able to install a hitch that fits in industry standard rails such as # RP30928.
