Combination Transmission/Oil Cooler for 2010 Chevy Tahoe Towing Small TT from Arkansas to Alaska

Question:

Would like to add a transmission cooler and a oil cooler to my 2010 Tahoe 1500 LS. Will be pulling a small TT from Missouri to Alaska next spring and want to improve the cooling capacity for engine and transmission. Can you make a recommendation from the coolers you sell? Thanks for your help.

The Derale combination transmission/engine oil cooler # D13302 would be an excellent choice for you, if you have the space available directly behind the grille to accommodate its 16-13/16" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 3/4" deep size. If you need something a bit smaller, you can go with the # D13222 which measures 12-13/16" wide x 10-1/4" tall x 3/4" deep.

For the transmission cooler circuit, you'd need the # D13064 hardware kit and the # D13035 fitting. For the oil cooler circuit, you'd need the # D15751 install kit.

I've linked you to some informational articles about transmission coolers that you might find helpful.
