4 to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler towing a Boat Trailer With Surge Brakes
Question:
Sir or Maam, I already have a 4 way flat connector installed on my Jeep but my boat trailer is a 5 flat as it has brakes. I see you sell a 4 way plug and play. Do you have a 5 way, plug and play? Or will it require a new 5 way kit hard wired to replace my 4 way kit plug and play.

What you need is the Adapter 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 47515. This will plug into your existing 4-way on your 2014 Jeep, and then the blue wire will get ran to the reverse light circuit of your vehicle taillights and then tap into that circuit with the included quick-splice connector.
I attached a video that shows a typical installation for this product for you to check out to the right.
