Roof Mount Bike Rack for a Carbon Racing Bike and 2009 Toyota Venza with Rhino Rack Roof Rack
Question:
Hi there. I noticed the description of this product indicates that it clamps the bike in place. My carbon frame racing bike is not supposed to be clamped. I just wanted to confirm that this product is safe to use with that type of bike. Thanks.

For an excellent rack that will work with your carbon racing bike I recommend the fork mount rack # RBC035. This is one of the most stable racks since it has 2 straps at the front to secure the rack to the roof rack. This creates a stable ride for the bike.
I have linked a video review of this rack. You can see in the video we have put a heavier bike on it than a carbon racing bike for the test course portion of the video. Even with a heavy bike on the rack it is still very stable and would be even more so with your carbon racing bike.
