Troubleshooting Left and Right Blinkers that Blink Together

Question:

Break lights work, running lights work. When I turn on my left or right blinker, both trailer lights blink. A short job turned into a head scratcher for me. Fed-up! PS 4 wire system. White grd Brown, Yellow and green off the truck. From trailer I have the green connected to green from the truck, Yellow going to yellow from the truck, White to White from the truck. And both green/brown wire from trailer and yellow/brown wire from trailer, going to the solid brown coming off he truck. Hope I didnt make it more confusing by stating the connections Thanks

What's happening is that your left/stop turn circuit is shorting out to your right stop/turn circuit and when one circuit is getting activated the other is as well due to the short.

The best way to fix this would be go over all of the connections you made looking for any exposed wire and fix as necessary.
