Will Trailer Tires Run Cooler with More Air Pressure
Question:
I have 20.5 8 load e tires it says they will hold 90 pounds of air will they run cooler with max air in them I will be pulling 3000 pounds

They will run cooler. In fact, trailer tires should always be inflated to the maximum psi indicated on the tire. This is because trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall compared to passenger vehicle tires. If a trailer tire is under inflated that thicker sidewall will generate excessive heat and cause tire failure. I have included a link to our informational article on trailer tires for you.
