Does Draw-Tite Require the Use of Stabilizer Straps With Non-Supported Loads
Question:
Does this hitch require the extra support straps like the Curt 13144 for non-trailer attachments?

Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite does not require the use a stabilizer strap when their hitches are used with a non-supported load like a bike rack or cargo carrier. This is one of the biggest advantages to Draw Tite hitches over the Curt hitches.
