How High Will Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2110SP-24 Sit Above Trailer Roof

Question:

I need to know what the clearance is because the trailer must pass through our garage door. Also, can it be open at highway speeds? Thanks,

I walked out to our warehouse and measured the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2110SP-24. The height of the vent from the top of the trailer to the top of the vent when closed measured approximately 2-1/4 inches. When the vent is fully opened the height is approximately 11-1/4 inches.

Check out the pictures showing these measurements.

You would not be able to open this vent fully while driving. If you face the vent so that it opens facing the rear of the trailer you could have it slightly open.
