Camper Hold Down Availability for a 1989 Nissan Hardbody

Question:

I have read multiple reviews and qanda and havent found anything to say that it will or wont. they look like they might. I know these are for a full sizeinch truck but they are the only ones i have found that look like they would even remotely work. Im planning on driving fom AK to GA so I NEED something that works and works great for my truck.. My next option is to have something fabricated for my trucklast resort. Thanks

The Camper Hold Downs, part number HSSF may work on your 1989 Nissan Hardbody. The hold downs do not fit in the stake pockets (which it doesn't look like you have) but wraps around the bed rails and are mounted inside the bed. There is no weight capacity rating on the hold downs and the will work for any camper size that is properly sized for your vehicle.

I added a couple of dimension pictures of these hold-downs for you to compare to your truck bed to see if they will fit.

I also added a photo showing a camper hold down that I loosely installed on a truck for you to see how it fits. I also added a drawing that I put together showing how the tie downs should be positioned in relation to the tie down anchors on your truck camper.

The Camper Tie Down Hardware Package, item # TDHP, comes with four 3/8 inch turnbuckles, four S hooks and four chains and works with the camper hold downs. This hold down kit has a 3,000 pound capacity per set.
