Tail Light Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E500

hi, I have a mercedes e500 sportno big diferent between normal and sport from 2003 - 2006 ,2003 with LED stop lights.Is it going to work with the wiring part#56146KIT?!

I have a tail light wiring harness that should work with your 2003 Mercedes-Benz E500, but Curt does not have any recommended harnesses, so you do not want to use part # 56146KIT.

According to my contact at Tekonsha, their ZCI Circuit Protected Wiring Harness, # 119250KIT, should work. They have not specifically tested this harness with the 2003 E500, but he said the tail light wiring in that vehicle is not very different that other Mercedes models and part # 119250KIT is the harness they recommend for Mercedes vehicles.

This harness will also work with LED lights. LED lights typically have lower voltage, but this harness draws power from the vehicle battery, so it will protect the tail light wiring and not interfere with the vehicles internal circuitry.
