Installation Video for Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 on 2001 Ford F-250

Am interested in the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 for my Ford F-250 but its the only model that installation video is not shown. Does the 2000 model video apply? Thanks

Yes, the same installation process shown in our video for the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 on a 2000 Ford F-250 will also apply to your 2001 Ford F-250.
Our local customers that come in for installations allow us to record the process and this is where our videos come from. We haven't had the chance to install a Prodigy P2 on a 2001 Ford F-250 as of yet.
When installing the P2 on your F-250, I recommend using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, # 3035-P. This custom wiring adapter allows you to simply plug one end of the adapter into your brake controller and then plug the other end into the built-in harness beneath your vehicle's dash.
If your vehicle isn't currently equipped with a 7 way connector, you will also need to install the Tow Package Wiring Harness, # 118243.
